The Silver Jackets was formed to provide retirees with a way to stay in touch with colleagues and connect with the Georgia Tech community.

Note: as of January 2025, meetings have not yet been scheduled for this year. Current members who have topic ideas or campus contacts to provide presentations are encouraged to contact us.

Meetings begin at 10:30 am with a Social Time and the Program presentation begins at 11:00 am on the second Tuesday of each month from January to May and from September to December. Minutes are available in the About Us/Minutes portion of the website.

In addition to meetings, special interest groups are being formed for a book club and special volunteer activities. There are also opportunities within the Silver Jackets, such as serving on one of our committees–website, Benefits, Events and Programs.
